Love Food, Love Poke

One of trendiest new dishes is poke, pronounced poh-KAY (rhymes with okay), and is Hawaiian comfort food. Poke means “to slice or cut” in Hawaiian. It is similar to sashimi or ceviche and is frequently topped with soy sauce, sesame oil, and scallions. There are many poke variations, such as cubed avocado, tofu, or octopus.
