Meet the Manager: Glenda Torres, Cafe Manager

Glenda loves taking care of people. Throughout the 16 plus years she’s been in campus dining, she has learned how much she enjoys helping people, being kind to everyone around her and making guests feel like they’re at home. With so many students not from the Boston area, Glenda thinks it’s important to demonstrate a high degree of customer service to make everyone be at ease and comfortable. Over the past year, she has really enjoyed getting to know the Emerson campus community – everyone is so friendly. But, the thing she has learned most and she is excited to showcase for others is the passion of her culinary team has in preparing food. They LOVE FOOD and take such care in making every ingredient, every dish, every meal the very BEST! Glenda favorite? I love ‘mofongo’ which is a Spanish dish made with shredded pork or chicken along with mashed green plantains.
