Growing up in a household with a father who was a chef in an Asian fusion restaurant, Tinney was introduced to a wide range of some great tasting and interesting food. From an early age, she learned the importance to try anything and everything at least once. From her first taste of sushi, Tinney was hooked and appreciates how sushi can be taken to a true art form with its many variations. That love of food led her to pursue a college degree in hospitality management. What she’s noticed most about Emerson students is their willingness to voice their opinion. Personally, we welcome the input because when you gain a greater understanding of guests’ interests and needs we can focus on creating an exceptional guest experience that exceeds expectations.
