Growing up in a household with a father who was a chef in an Asian fusion restaurant, I was introduced to a wide range of some great tasting and interesting food. From an early age, I learned the importance to try anything and everything at least once. From my first taste of sushi, I was hooked and appreciate how it can be taken to a true art form with its many variations. That love of food led me to pursue a college degree in hospitality management. What I’ve noticed most about Emerson students is their willingness to voice their opinion. Personally, we welcome the input because when you gain a greater understanding of guests’ interests and needs we can focus on creating an exceptional guest experience that exceeds expectations.
